Blow
Moulding
Blow moulding is a manufacturing process by which hollow plastic products
such as bottles are formed. In general, there are three main types of
blow molding: extrusion blow moulding, injection blow moulding, and stretch
blow moulding. The blow moulding process begins with melting down the
plastic and forming it into a preform. The preform is a tube-like piece
of plastic with a hole in one end in which compressed air can pass through.
Plastic
Extrusion
Plastic extrusion of pipe, rod and tube , profile extrusion, sheet extrusion,
film extrusion. Plastic extruders. In the extrusion of plastics, raw thermoplastic
material in the form of small beads is gravity fed from a top mounted
hopper into the barrel of the extruder.
Rotational
Moulding
The rotational molding process is a high-temperature, low-pressure plastic-forming
process that uses heat and biaxial rotation (i.e. rotation on two axes)
to produce hollow, one-piece parts. The rotomoulding process does have
distinct advantages. Manufacturing large, hollow parts such as oil tanks
is much easier by rotational moulding than any other method.

Injection Moulding:
Injection molding (British variant spelling: moulding) is a manufacturing
technique for making parts from both thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic
materials in production. Molten plastic is injected at high pressure into
a mold (British variant spelling: mould), which is the inverse of the product's
shape. After a product is designed by an Industrial Designer or an Engineer,
molds are made by a moldmaker (or toolmaker) from metal, usually either
steel or aluminium, and precision-machined to form the features of the desired
part. Injection molding is widely used for manufacturing a variety of parts,
from the smallest component to entire body panels of cars. Injection molding
is the most common method of production, with some commonly made items including
bottle caps and outdoor furniture.
